Pack 42 Planning Meeting

October 5, 2009

Attendance:

Dave Lampat, Brian Oxley, Frank Birch, Roger Mittelstadt, Chad Jorgensen, Dwight Crossfield

New Business:

The dens were reviewed with the only change that Den 1, David Heinz, will take the four new scouts plus two from the previous tiger den. The other Webelos 2 den needs to be finalized.

The pack meeting location has still not been finalized. Dave will work with the school for a meeting location. Frank will contact the legion to see what may be available for meeting times. Dwight will contact the Methodist church to see what maybe available. If the school does not have space, the Methodist church will be the first choice. The new ZED building was also another idea.

Action Items:

1. Chad will forward contact information from the other Webelos 2 den to Roger.

2. Pack meetings

1. Dave will work with the school for a meeting location.

2. Frank will contact the legion to see what may be available for meeting times.

3. Dwight will contact the Methodist church to see what maybe available.

3. Halloween Party

1. Chad will get dry ice.

2. Frank will organize the drink and snack.

3. All dens need game to bring a game.

4. Chad and Dave to meet at Ryan Ostreng’s to learn about the maintenance of the website on Oct 6.

New Business:

All dens will get $30 to purchase prizes and decorations for their games.

Den leaders to email Dave Lampat with their games by Oct 16 so we do not have duplicate games.

Pack 42 Planning Meeting

New Business:

Pinewood Derby

We will be selling derby kits at the next pack meeting. Dave Lampat will pick up.

Dec Pack meeting

Frank will pick up snacks.

There are 8 popcorn trophies and 6 top prizes to hand out.

There are 3 that get to throw a pie in the face of a leader.

Blue and Gold

The theme will be happy birthday BSA.

We will have a potluck with each den bringing assigning people to bring a variety of dishes. Ie not everyone to bring hotdish.

We are trying to find a magician. Bob Miller was suggested.

Rechartering

Dave Lampat will not be able to continue as cubmaster.

Science Museum Campin – Feb 20

Pancake Breakfast - Frank will look at some dates.
